teamwork at Eyetoeye Design, graphic desiner, web designer, Ajax, Durham Region, Oshawa

Every customer is important to us.

Here are a couple where the teamwork really got things cranking.

The Customer:

UrbanPromise Toronto is such a vital ministry touching the lives of hurting children and youth in several hard-hit neighborhoods throughout Toronto. Children are being positively impacted by UPT mentors which allows many of these children to grow to be leaders of tomorrow and have a dynamic impact on their own communities.

The Problem and Solution:

The work UrbanPromise does is highly effective. However, their marketing has not been. Their marketing materials and website lacked any consistent branding and the quality-level of the materials was not projecting an image that the organization was solid. When UPT contacted Eyetoeye Design, the goal was to develop a consistent and effective brand that would convey the amazing work that is being done through this dynamic organization. Photography played a huge part in showing the mentoring role of the leaders as well as providing high-energy and vivid imagery for all the materials. This, coupled with strong, consistent branding and design for every item from brochures & newsletters to their website, has been a dramatic positive upgrade for UPT.

Has it Been Effective?

In less than 2 years, John has walked us through a complete brand refresh. We started with a desire for a consistent logo, but John helped us see that our overall brand was undefined and lacked the visual power and clarity to support the vision of UPT. By partnering together, we have accomplished exactly what we set out to do. UPT now has the strong visual voice needed for us to compete well in the charitable sector.

The Customer:

Bruce Klassen, Real Estate Agent for Royal LePage

The Problem and Solution:

Bruce and Eyetoeye Design partnered together in the fall of 2004 to help Bruce reach a very large goal - to become a “specialist” in two of the higher-end real estate markets in west Toronto - The Kingsway and Sunnylea areas.  He needed to get noticed and didn't want to blend in amongst the other thousands of realtors in the GTA.

Since Bruce wasn't a 'household name' in either of the areas, the ONLY way to get noticed, and ultimately compete with the established realtors, was to create a marketing campaign that focused him as a specialist in the area - and to produce QUALITY material... material that stands out amidst all others. He partnered with John Cowie at Eyetoeye Design to help him with exactly that. This required many things: a new logo, sign redesign, listing material, mapping, ad design, and finally, an effective website design. Together, we were able to deliver exactly what Bruce was looking for.

Has it Been Effective?

So, six years later, how is it working? When assessing the results with Bruce, the increase has fluctuated as with any market. Overall, it has ranged from an increase in sales from as low as 30% one year to other years as high as 120%. This is definitely a success story!

Just last week Bruce received a call from a potential client asking him to help them with their next move. After meeting with the new customers Bruce asked them why they ultimately called him. Their response? “We've noticed your marketing materials through the mail for quite some time. We couldn’t NOT call you!”

Two stories worth talking about.
